Since 2005, Natasha Tiffany, M.D., has been providing an outstanding level of care to patients of Hematology Oncology of Salem. She has special expertise in hematology and oncology, having completed three years of fellowship at the Oregon Health and Science University in these fields before joining the Salem, Oregon practice, and is board certified in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology. She was granted the honor of Professional of the Year in Medical Oncology and Hematology by Cambridge Who's Who in 2010.
Prior to launching her career, Dr. Natasha Tiffany graduated with a double bachelor's degree from Oberlin College and Oberlin Conservatory of Music. She completed her education in medicine at Oregon Health and Science University School of Medicine, where she is currently an Affiliate Assistant Professor. During her education, Dr. Tiffany was Phi Beta Kappa, a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society, a recipient of the Otterdale Memorial Scholarship, and earned several other awards and fellowships.
A keen researcher, Dr. Natasha Tiffany has had numerous papers published in national medical journals. A multi-author, multi-disciplinary study including her work on horse chestnut was published in the Journal of Herbal Pharmacotherapy. Dr. Tiffany has also contributed to a body of clinical research regarding such topics as the toxicity and efficacy of certain medicines in treatment of prostate cancer, an online support tool designed for doctors and patients in Integrative Medicine, and the effect of specific types of injuries and Parkinson's disease in rats.
In her free time, Dr. Natasha Tiffany enjoys playing the piano and maintaining her physical health through exercise. She keeps busy with her two young children and her numerous professional activities.
